Brightline, Sesco to Illuminate Sunshine State
DECEMBER 14, 2006
BRIDGEVILLE, PA--Brightline is very pleased to announce that it has entered into an exclusive arrangement with SESCO Lighting Inc. to represent the full line of Brightline products throughout Florida and Puerto Rico. Headquartered in Winter Park, Florida, SESCO is among the lighting industry’s leading manufacturers’ representatives, with some 115 employees working out of 10 offices to service a broad range of client sectors including the commercial, institutional, broadcast/theatrical, and hospitality markets. Marshalling its nearly 40 years’ experience in the region, SESCO will offer Brightline’s SeriesONE fixtures as its sole fluorescent line for broadcast studio applications; the patented Brightline T-Series as its exclusive option for videoconferencing; and the Brightline CycSeries and SeriesTWO color-changing systems for cyclorama, decorative interior, and building-effects lighting.
“SESCO is extremely excited about our new association with Brightline,” says Rhonda Viveney, SESCO Lighting Controls Manager. “We have both Lighting Controls and Commercial Lighting divisions in each of the major markets throughout Florida and Puerto Rico. The Lighting Controls division will be able to focus on the dealer and studio business while the Commercial Lighting division will now be able to fulfill the need for videoconference production lighting in settings ranging from classrooms to corporate boardrooms. In addition, the ability of Brightline products to interface with our two major dimming lines, ETC and Crestron, is a wonderful bonus.”
Brightline’s optimism regarding the alliance with SESCO is typified by Eastern Regional Sales Manager Michael Zihmer, who notes that “SESCO is a well-run organization made up of people who understand both lighting and the ‘ins and outs’ of the market. Their knowledge and reputation coupled with our lighting products gives me confidence that Brightline will be very well represented in Florida and Puerto Rico. They are truly enthusiastic about our line, and we look forward to the added exposure their organization will bring.”
